We are in the middle of a winter storm or storms. Winter is winning. I’m telling myself to act ‘mature’ and not complain about the weather. (Some one else is trying hard, and only occasionally mumbles the word ‘Florida’).
We replaced the old stove, just days before the snow started flying. It was 8 degrees that day.
It was a snowy, snowy wintry weekend. My life in pictures from Friday night to Sunday night….
The magic wood filling fairy (me) shows up, reminding me that I miss Team Offspring as this use to be their job.
Small hot fires. We’re still in our learning curve (and I have the 4 burned fingers to prove it).
Fancy new stove with a catalytic converter, (which I believe it makes it a Cadillac.) It actually burns up it’s own smoke, (don’t ask me to explain it) but it is good and responsible….and keeps us from feeling like we live like this….
Be warm…stay save …and be blessed.
Love the new stove! My bit of winter freeze only lasted 3 days as we visited our newest granddaughter in Salt Lake City! I experienced my first “sweeping the snow” off the car and gently opening the door that was frozen shut. I think a must for my next car will be seat warmers! Stay warm.
Congrats to Grandma and Gramps! Seat warmers are a beautiful thing!
