The Best Medicine

Gifts of humor…

Family and friends reaching out with calls, texts and messages.

Thoughtful hopes for healing…

My sister the nurse offers advice about bodily functions.

My Loving Spouse takes on all the jobs.

My brother (a pilot) offers thoughtful perspective in caring for My Loving Spouse.

I move a bit better each day, but pain comes very quickly.

Number Two Son stops by to check up on us.

Having people we care about come alongside us in this time of recovery makes all the difference.

Having My Girl & Number Six drive 3 hours to surprise us, and bring lunch….Priceless.

For each and every one of you who reach out with your care and love…

you bless us so.

Sending Healing hugs to you with hopes the recovery gets better every day! Those sweet notes from the little ones should give you a ton of healing.

Thank you, Mims. The notes and the sticker assortment on the envelope makes me smile every time I look at it.

Oh, my, Ellen!! You didn’t need this. I’m so glad you’re on the mend. Kendall fell and broke his femur on July 1, 3 weeks in the hospital, a walker, and a cane later he’s doing better. Keep up your spirits and know that you’re loved across the miles. God bless the healing!!

      much love,
