We (which mostly means me) have decided to have a quilt giveaway! So, here it is…
The source for the quilt came from ‘A Bright Corner’. Truly the only parts that were my own, were the fabric choices and the errors. I don’t usually follow patterns, but this one just spoke to me.
I do love the argyle sock feel of the quilt. There are a few hearts sprinkled through out, which made me think of giving it away since Valentine’s day is just a few weeks away. The hearts, however, are subtle enough to spread some cheer at any time of year. The quilt is 47 inches by 60 inches, perfect for a lap or a nap on the couch or a gift or a re-gift….
I’ve been in a bit of a creative slump, so having this giveaway has fired up my imagination. Not only have I got projects and ideas backed up in the sewing room, but there’s a spring in my step, because sewing surprises for others makes me the most happy.
The back of the quilt is grey flannel, some polka-dot, some plain and some paisley, but all of it cozy.
